ISU Library Opens a Rest & Recharge Corner for Students
The Isabela State University Library has introduced a new feature designed to support student well-being—a cozy Rest & Recharge Corner equipped with soft carpet flooring and bean bags. This inviting space aims to give students a comfortable place to pause, relax, and regain their energy in between hours of reading, research, and academic work.

Located inside the main library, the area offers a quiet and calming atmosphere where students can settle down, stretch out, or simply take a moment to breathe. Many students have already begun using the space, finding it helpful during long study sessions. Photos attached to this article show several library users enjoying the bean bags—reading, resting, or quietly reviewing their notes.

The initiative is part of the library’s continuous effort to create an environment that is not only conducive to learning but also supportive of students’ mental and emotional wellness. By offering a comfortable spot where students can slow down and recover from academic fatigue, the library hopes to encourage healthier study habits and reduce stress among its users.

The Rest & Recharge Corner is open during regular library hours and is free for all students. Everyone is welcome to visit, unwind, and make use of the space as part of their study routine.

As the university continues to enhance its library services, this new corner reflects ISU’s commitment to building a student-centered learning environment—one that recognizes the value of rest as an essential part of growth and academic success.
