LIBRARY REGISTRATION

Present your assessment form to the librarian-in-charge to be registered in the Library Management System and claim your Borrower’s Card. Everytime you enter the library, you will input your student number in the computer terminal provided at the entrance of the library.

CATALOGING

Cataloging Services is responsible for the cataloging, classification, and subject analysis of the library’s collections. Our collection is organized in an open-shelf using the Dewey Decimal Classification System.

CIRCULATION

The circulation service involves activities such as checking out items, setting loan periods, renewing loans, and maintaining accurate records of borrowed materials.

Borrowing and Returning of books and other materials

  • Borrowing time starts at 3PM. Books borrowed for overnight need to be returned the following day before 9AM.
  • Fiction books – 1 week (7 days)
  • Filipiniana and General Collection books – overnight

CLEARANCE SIGNING

All library obligations shall be settled first before a student/faculty can secure library clearance. No clearance shall be signed until the following library obligations have been met.

Library obligations refer to the following:

  • Unpaid overdue fines
  • Unreturned books
  • Lost borrowed books
  • Damaged borrowed books

REFERRAL

A referral letter is issued to students and faculty members who wish to use the libraries of other institutions. Secure the referral letter at least a day before the schedule of your intended visit to a particular library.

A processing fee amounting to twenty (P20.00) shall be charged and to be paid at the cashier’s office.
