Public Access to Green and Open Spaces at the ISU Library

The Isabela State University provides a publicly accessible green and open space located directly in front of the University Library, which is freely open not only to students and faculty but also to visitors and members of the local community. This open lawn may be used without any fees or entry restrictions and is regularly utilized for cultural performances, informal learning, group gatherings, rest, and recreation.

The area is naturally shaded by mature trees and intentionally preserved as a safe and inclusive public environment that supports outdoor learning, cultural appreciation, and overall well-being. By maintaining this open space for unrestricted community use, the University demonstrates its strong commitment to sustainable campus design and to providing equitable access to healthy outdoor environments.
