Súlok ng Katutubong Kaalaman (Indigenous Knowledge Corner)

The Isabela State University Library has established the Súlok ng Katutubong Kaalaman (Indigenous Knowledge Corner) as a dedicated cultural heritage space that honors and preserves the rich indigenous knowledge, traditions, and narratives of the local communities in Region II. This corner serves as a living repository of folklore, language expressions, traditional crafts, and community practices that are often passed on orally and at risk of being forgotten over time.

Through this initiative, the ISU Library affirms its role not only as an academic resource center but also as a keeper of history, identity, and collective memory. The Súlok provides an inclusive space for learning, cultural appreciation, and intergenerational knowledge sharing to ensure that indigenous wisdom continues to be recognized, valued, and passed on to the next generation.
