University Library Conducts Extension Program

Librarians of Isabela State University (ISU), Echague campus headed by Dr. Betsie M. Dela Cruz, University Director for Library Services in partnership with the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) Program headed by Mrs. Ruby A. Lumaban had conducted storytelling and singing of nursery rhymes to the Kindergarten 2 pupils of San Fabian Day Care Center, Echague, Isabela on May 18, 2023 as part of their Library Extension Program. The kids were truly energized, recharged and had fun as they enjoyed singing the nursery rhymes. They actively participated as well in the storytelling conducted by the BLIS students.

In addition, the library donated books to be used as additional learning materials of the Day Care Center preschoolers.

The ISU Library System and the BLIS Program are very thankful for the unwavering support of the Brgy. Chairman, Felix M. Mariano, Jr., and the kind assistance of the able and competent teacher of the Day Care Center, Mrs. Aimee C. Dadubo, for making this endeavor a success.
