Kapehan sa Silid-Aklatan Strengthens Sense of Community at the Start of the Semester

The University Library successfully conducted Kapehan sa Silid-Aklatan on the morning of August 10 at the University Library Lobby as part of its welcoming activities for the new semester. The event gathered students in a simple yet meaningful engagement that fostered connection and a sense of belonging.

As a gesture of care and hospitality, the library served warm rice porridge with egg to the participants. More than the shared meal, the activity created a space for light conversations, smiles, and a positive start to the academic term.

Beyond being a routine program, Kapehan sa Silid-Aklatan highlights the library’s role not only as a center for information but also as a nurturing environment that supports community building and student well-being.

The University Library looks forward to sustaining initiatives like this in line with its commitment to being a gateway to learning and a supportive academic community.
